Thank you

Thank you so very much ?? Lincoln received his quilt today and absolutely loved it! Linc has just had surgery so it couldn’t have come at a better time. He has a 3 month recovery ahead of him and I can already see lots of days snuggled up in his new quilt ahead of him.
It’s just absolutely beautiful, and thank you again for putting such a smile on his face x

Biography

Linc was born via c section in Sep 2017. As he grew he never showed an interest in crawling or walking and flapped his arms a lot. When he was 1.5 years and still not walking I took him to the pediatrician and testing began. On 30th May 2019 he was officially diagnosed with ASD Level 3. As he grew and developed other diagnosis were added and the psych, speechie and Ot worked with him accordingly. He still has this support team today. He started getting ear infections from an early age and soon had his tonsils out and grommets in. These fell out and he suffered two perforations over the next couple of years. Last year he suffered terribly with ear infections and missed alot of school and had to stop his sports. But the last infection he had has caused a large perforation that requires surgery which he is having in Feb this year. He will be home for 6 weeks following the surgery as he can’t have any knocks etc.. as it will cause the surgery to fail and then another 6 weeks with no contact sport etc.. At the 3 month mark his hearing will be tested. He has lost a little hearing in his ear already so it will need to be tested again to make sure he hasn’t lost more. His school are super supportive and are sending work home for him and his aide is going to have a zoom session with him every Friday so he can see his class and still be included. Linc takes everything in his stride and is the most beautiful soul you will ever meet.
