Thanks so much for your email. Rhi was beside herself when the parcel arrived today. The smile on her face was priceless.

You have all captured her Princess obsession better than I could have imagined and the time that has gone into each square and the overall process is beyond anything I can imagine.

Thankyou to yourself and everyone else involved in making the quilt for Rhi, something so thoughtful has bought the biggest smile to a little girl going through so much day in and day out.

I cannot thank everyone enough. I really appreciate the time this has taken and all the hard work from everyone involved.

Biography

Rhi was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 5 years old. Rhi has really struggled with many aspects of her development and was also diagnosed at the same time with Epilepsy and can have many seizures each day. In 2017 she was diagnosed with Focal Segmental Glomeruli Sclerosis (FSGS) secondary to Nephrotic Syndrome and in 2019 she went into End Stage Renal Failure resulting in her Kidneys shutting down and requiring Peritoneal Dialysis 12 hours each night at home. In Nov 2019 Rhi had a Cardiac Arrest resulting in her acquiring a Brain Injury which has resulted in a large amount of regression of skills. Rhi has had to learn to walk and talk again and day by day we see improvement in skills but she is years behind her developmental age. In 2020 she received a Kidney Transplant and this year her Kidney went into Rejection. Rhi is still undergoing ongoing treatment and visits hospital weekly for tests. Rhi has a long road ahead of her but is a true fighter.
