Biography

Symmie is born the 4th child in the world & the only child in Australia with her syndrome. She is an indigenous child belonging to the Kimberley's, being born in Fitzroy Crossing. Her mother knew she was unable to cope with multiple trips to Perth so decided to give her to me to raise. At this stage Symmie was only given a life expectancy of 1 year. Through lots of dedication, love & hard work Symmie is heading up to 9 years of age & can now walk, run, jump, talk, count etc. She has proven to be a very Sassy tenacious young lady with loads of determination. Symmie was also the first child in the world to trial a new drug called Burosamab which has made a huge difference to her life giving her great quality & quantity of life, due to this drug being so successful with Symmie there is now thousands of children around the world receiving this infusion on a regular basis. Not only is she Sassy, Tenacious,& determined she is a world trend setter for other children. I have been very blessed to raise such an endearing young lady.
