Hi All .Kaitlan would like to let you all know her beautiful quilt arrived yesterday .
She was so happy to receive a parcel .
When we opened it her little smile said it all . ïŠ
I would like to thank all the amazing stitchers and quilters who assisted in bringing so much joy to Kaitlan .

Biography

Kaitlan is a 15 years old girl with a very rare chromosome disorder (only one on the worldwide register that being chromosome 8P 21.1 to 23.3). Kaitlan is in wheelchair as her cerebral palsy stops her from walking. She cannot feed herself or dress herself, cannot do her own personal care and requires 24/7 support. Her epilepsy causes a great deal of stress and worry as we cant get her under control as yet. She has no interest in any toys, electrical devices, TVs. Does not engage in story times or activities. Kaitlan has stunted growth and is only 137cm tall and 38kg in weight. Kaitlan has major heart surgery at age of one day old and has continual cardiologists appointments 6 monthly. Kaitlan also suffers sensory needs.
