Biography

At Just 8 months of age Rani suffered a Hypoxic Brain Injury after a choking incident on a piece of mango. This left Rani with a significant disability and complex medical needs.
Rani spent 3 months at Queensland Children's Hospital and a further 5 weeks at Hummingbird House Children's Hospice before returning home.
Over the past 4 years Rani has had to overcome many challenges that no child should have to face.
She has survived far too many illness, 1000's of seizures and copious amounts of hospital admissions and lengthy stays.
Rani has an extensive amount of treating teams she is under through John Hunter Hospital, Palliative Care Team, Neurology Team, Gastro Team, Respiratory Team, Rehab Team and many more as well as her local therapists.

Rani is known as The Warrior Princess and has surprised and impressed doctors, family and friends with her strength, resilience and will to live.
