Theme details

Cats & kittens - Gianna likes grey coloured cats but because an all grey quilt would be a bit dull, she's happy to have other coloured cats included. So, some squares with grey cats/kittens; but other colours welcomed too.

Biography

Gianna has two loveable big sisters and had enjoyed life completely healthy, swimming weekly, a natural backstroker! Dabbled in netball as a great defender and loved the local skatepark on her scooter.

Just shy of her 8th birthday this year, Gianna was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma after telling mum and dad only 2 weeks earlier, her left side ribs was sticking out more than the other. Promptly Gianna was thrown into scans and blood tests.
Currently now on her 4th round of chemo, Gianna continues to battle on with her cheeky grin, knowing one day this will be all over and she can return to her much missed school.
