Biography

Karlia is an 11 year old girl that has beaten all odds. She has had many lung colapses and nearly passed away many times. Karlia has been fondly named "The Angel in waiting" by the staff at her birth hospital. We were told she would not survive birth and would not live after, we were also told she was brain dead and would not move at all. I was told to leave her in the hospital and walk away. She has had a very hard life with illnesses and broken bones but she has not let that keep her down. Karlia is a very intelligent, talkative cheeky, courageous young girl who loves life, she especially likes to tell jokes and pull pranks on her older sister Rachael and I. Karlia has a limited life span but we are trying to make everyday count.
